Dumble Cottage has been carefully restored and converted from one of the original 17th Century buildings in the curtilage of Netherton Hall.  It is now a really lovely quiet retreat, a super comfortable cottage, perfect to unwind and relax or if you have the energy a swim in the private heated indoor swimming pool.

We have taken great care to preserve the original character of the building but also to give you a very high quality finish.

Dumble is entirely on ground floor level (although there are a couple of steps down to the dining and sitting rooms).  It sleeps two people in one bedroom with room for a cot.  There is a stunning metal four poster bed, and your bedding and towels are provided.

The dining room has seating for four in case you have friends around and sitting room has a comfy chair and sofa where you can relax in front of the log burning stove.

Dumble has a traditional shaker style solid oak kitchen with top quality appliances and a full range of equipment for the keen cook.  There are also several local pubs serving great food for the rest of us.

​

Dumble is individually furnished & decorated with love!  There is a flat screen television in the sitting room, DVDs, books, games and lots of local information to help you plan your stay.

Dumble has a wealth of wooden beams and mullioned windows to look at too.  The four poster bedroom has a king size bed and beautiful bedding and towels to make your stay extra special!

Dumble cottage is very dog friendly and up to 2 dogs are welcome.

 

On your arrival you will have a welcome basket with bread, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits & a bottle of wine to get you settled in.

There is an Aga log burner with a basket of logs provided, there are top quality kitchen appliances in a fully equiped kitchen – oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge (with ice box), microwave.  Free sat TV and excellent wifi, flat screen TV, iPod dock, CD player.

Dumble cottage has underfloor heating throughout to keep you cosy during your stay.  There is a laundry room with washing machine, dryer, iron should you need it.​

​

Each cottage has cleaning products, cloths, bin bags, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll and tea towels to make your packing a little less stressful.

​​

Outside there is a private patio area with table and seating for 4 and chimenea with fantastic views over the countryside in a secure enclosed area, perfect for eating out.  As well as this there is a paddock behind the cottages going down to the brook .

In off peak times we can sometimes accommodate different start days but you will have to contact us directly as the online booking can’t action this.
